About me
25 Years old, born and raised in Jerusalem- Where I work and create today.
I draw inspiration from nature- animals and plant life- and the materials in it. I am fascinated by the attempts to create organic movement, holey shapes. I am also intrigued by the stable and balanced feeling that fragile objects can create.
My ideas come from whichever material I am in contact with at the moment of the creation, periodically changing. I allow myself the freedom to learn new techniques, interduce myself to new forms of creation, and to get to know new materials. The only constant is glass- it is what started my journey, and what I continue to be fascinated by, no matter how long I've been working with it.
I find that each material can possess many different characters and opportunities withing it, depending all on how I choose to work it. With every new material come both challenges and new options.
The material and technique research is usually what guides me through projects, revealing the right path.
נולדתי ב 1997 בירושלים, בה גדלתי ובה אני יוצרת היום.
אני מקבלת את ההשראה שלי מהטבע, מהחיי והצומח ומהחומרים שבו. אני מתעניינת ביצירת תנועה אורגנית, בצורות מחוררות ובאופן שבו אובייקטים שבריריים ועדינים יכולים ליצור תחושה יציבה ומאוזנת.
הרעיונות לרוב העבודות שלי נובעים מהחומרים ומהטכניקות בהם אני עוסקת באותו רגע נתון.
למידת טכניקות חדשות מרתקת אותי ואני אוהבת לבחון את האופן שבו ניתן להעניק לחומר אופי שונה בעזרתן. לאחרונה אני נהנת לחפש כיצד למתוח את תכונות החומר בעזרתן למקומות בלתי צפויים.
החיבור בין חלקי העבודה השונים והקונספט שלה מתבהרים לי לאורך תהליך היצירה כמעט ללא תכנון מקדים. זאת כתוצאה מהמחקר החומרי והצורני שהוא רוב התהליך בשבילי.
החומר העיקרי שאני יוצרת בו הוא זכוכית אך אני מאוד אוהבת לשלב אותו עם חומרים מגוונים.
